This family session was special because I got to meet up with a childhood friend that I haven't seen in over a decade! Growing up, Ellyn and I went to the same church here in Orange County. We recently reconnected on Instagram and it has been so fun catching up with her and seeing the beautiful life she has built. She is now in Washington, but we were able to meet up here in SoCal while they were on a family vacation and take some updated family photos. We had originally planned to shoot at the beach, but the weather changed our plans so we picked Urban Forest in Huntington Beach instead! It is the cutest little park with lots of trees, flowers, trails, and horses! Despite the gloomy weather, we got some beautiful light and some gorgeous photos of Ellyn and her sweet family! By the by, Ellyn is a realtor in the Snohomish area, so definitely look her up if you are looking to buy a house! I love connecting with old friends and fellow mama entrepreneurs.
